Freestyle MBTZ10s 7lb. battery

Check out the new battery i picked up for 72 dollars. not much info on the net about this brand, but still decided to give it a try. it's called MotoBatt and weighs 6.7 lbs. @ 190cc. the Napa battery i had weighed in at 14.8 lbs. @ 280cc. also purchased a TecMate TM-151 Desulfating Charger/Maintainer. All I have is a MSD enhancer and oem choke plates, so hopefully that’s enough CC’s...first time posting vids, hope they work... (Billybo, it measures 5 7/8"L x 3 3/8"W x 3 3/4"H)

1st video…ski was fogged with Sta-Bil via cylinders only just before Thanksgiving and been idle since. first try failed...didn't sound right so i pulled the starter and sure enough it was bad, brushes stuck in place and rust everywhere. battery was put on charge for about 2 weeks.

second try, this time with a new starter...huge difference...

Here is a good unbiased test comparison between MOTOBATT several good battery mfgs . Its a very good read IMO and seems to show a big difference between battery performance . Please dont bring up the fact that its a motorcycle test ...it still has great info . BTW Im currently running a DEKA9 which is not on the list and have been satisfied with a compromise between weight and capacity FWIW http://www.intruderalert.com/cafe/index.cfm?page=topic&topicID=157926 the results on the MOTOBOTT were still impressive IMO.

I actually purchased the Deka-9 back in Jan. 6.8lbs @ 120cc. when it couldn't start my ski, i thought for sure it was because of the low CC amps. So I found this MotoBatt @ 190cc. of course this one didn't start my ski either…that’s when I started trouble shooting looking at the cables/relay/starter, etc… cool find about the test, guess time will tell if i picked a good brand...
