Super Jet midshaft rebuild

I started a midshaft housing rebuild with an aftermarket kit and found the bearing is about 15mm wide and the original one is about 22mm wide. Will this be an issue?

Got it figured out, midshaft housing was from a blaster, bearing kit for a superjet.

Yeah the blaster is a double row bearing.

The housing might have a snap ring groove so you can use the thinner 6205 bearing- don't think that would be a problem.

Learn something new everyday. I thought all the housing that looked the same were the same bearings. Anyone know which are like the SJ and which are like the blaster?

The housing is the same, it has a second (I guess third) snap ring groove in it, the only difference between the models is the bearing.

I'm good, got it all assembled and midshaft pressed in.
