A good idea, poorly executed.
Firstly it shouldn't have a solid stud, the thread would have to be way to fine to be able to get enough accuracy in the adjustment. It would need to be turned in such small increments to effectively relieve the spring tension it just wouldn't work. The stud should be replaced with an adjustable tension spring (ball bearing and spring inside a hollow stud, something of that nature). Then you would be able to fit the highest tension spring in the carb for the highest pop off pressure then use the adjuster to effectively bring down the pop off pressure..........thats the way it works in my head anyway.....
