Is this why kawi made the SXR hulls so thick?

Scotty 'wash mo' gave me permission to post. Typical extreme slough riding. Enjoy.

That's awesome!!! you guys are nuts. I need to build a beater ski. I just can't bring myself to do that to my superjets. A Kawasaki is a good candidate to beat like that

Pump for sale. Low hours!

Lol. Looks like fun. We ride similar stuff here sometimes but it's all salt marsh creeks. 4-5 feet wide and 1&1/2 feet deep.

I was the rider with the camera, it was a scary moment for sure and nobody got hurt thank goodness. After we got our skies out of the waste deep mud we did about 20 more laps.

Thats cool Bro! In addition to my SJ, I have an SXR also just for that type of riding! There is a spot on the Colorado River that I occasionally ride thats similar to your spot (Narrow trails through Cat-tail reeds and mud bogs) It's about 3hrs from my house so I only make it out there a few times a year, some of the funnest riding ever!

I wanted to follow the SXR through some of that stuff on the Meremac with you guys but just couldn't bring myself to put all that crap through my nice impeller! Looks fun though...how nasty was it taking a dive in that mud??

I just got that impeller before we went to the wave rave. We try to ride in conditions outside the norm. Last year that same spot was 8 feet under water which allowed us to ride miles,
similar to trail riding with sometimes 4 skies searching for water in a 5 foot wide creek.

The Meramec is way too rocky for this. This silt 'processes' through the pump pretty good. Just takes the imperfections out of the pump, it's redneck blueprinting... lol.
