mmf waterbox x2

K just picked up a mmf waterbox for my x2. I have a 750 small pin with a coffman pipe now going to this mmf waterbox. I was told that these are pretty good boxes and work best with a factory pipe.

I dont have a factory pipe. It has a water port on it. Do I need to go get a flow control valve and a high compression head with dual cooling to get the most of of this waterbox?

You can cap off that port to get the most out of the box. Put the FCV or restrictor before the stinger in the pipe.

Rode the ski today. Awesome box. Huge boost is low end and throttle reponse, top end as well. I did have to cut top tube on the water box to get it to fit.

Very happy with the mmf water box. Tight fit but it works awesome and sounds great.
