No idea, unless it was some heavy aol visitors. aol users have a different ip address for just about every request, so it they aren't logged in, every ip shows up as a user.

Do you have any search engines pointed here? Or possibly a bot trying to make accounts here? 770 is a fairly large number. That's worth looking into.

Or maybe it was those 770 open browser windows I had pointed at the X
