motor bogging not sure why

so i just put this 760 in my boat and just about got it broken in. i only ran it for about 5-7 gallons of gas over a 2 day period it ran fine the 1st two days and then when i went to take it out on the 3rd day it didnt run well at all. it bogs and only runs at about 1/4 throttle and bogs heavily when you give it more gas.
i checked the inline fuel filters as well as the ones in the carbs. they were fine. the carbs are brand new 44's. they are both tuned the same and are still at the same specs as they were when it was running well. i checked the compression and they are both the same. i changed the coil and it didnt help anything. both plugs are getting spark.
i have clear fuel lines and it sorta appears that the rear carb isnt getting as much fuel through the fuel line as the front carb. i switched the pulse lines and still no change. im not sure whats wrong with this thing. any suggestions before i start taking it apart? thanks.

compression is even in both cylinders. my gauge measures low. but it is measuring the same compression as it was before i was having this problem. the plugs were changed after the last time i rode it , so when it began having the problem , the plugs were brand new. the only reason i changed the plugs after the last ride was because i was still running an oil rich mix during break in.

Just a thought but are you running outer wears .If so take them off

no , but thanks. it was running great one day. then the next day it wouldnt run right. i didnt change a thing except for the plugs.

it didnt start running poorly while i was riding it. it ran great, then i took it back out and it ran like crap. im gonna go take my carbs apart again and see if i missed something.

Check your plugs again. Sounds like you might have a bad one. I have had it happen before, they just go bad for no reason.

i checked that, they both have spark and are brand new.

Or maybe wrong plugs? Check to make sure you didn't accidentally put the wrong ones in.(as in the numbers)

deffinitely the right plugs. i always open the box at the store and check.

i just took apart my carbs again and they look great ( they should, they are brand new) still not sure what the problem is. gonna take it out tomorrow and hope it fixes itself:dunno:

Check your carb butterflies.

Had something similiar happen to me, and it was a small screw on the carb shaft that holds the butterfly in place.

Would have never noticed it if a friend hadn't been looking down the carb when I pulled the throttle.
