Mounting 2012 superjet destroyer tubbies

I need help,
I bought the destroyer Sponsons for my 2012 SJ

the issue is where to mount them, On the installation manual it says for the 08+ Sj's to place them 41.5" forward from the rear, thats fine...

BUT

I have always read that you NEVER place tubbies "flush" with the bottom of the ski, and that they need to be up about 1/2 inch correct?

So if I mount them to the manuals 41.5" forward mark then they end up sitting flush with the bottom like I was told NOT to do??? (at least flush with where the 08+built in tubbie ends)20141113_142727.jpg

Should I move them back the 3 inches it takes to get them to sit up 1/2 inch from the bottom of the hull?

Mount them the way the instructions say. I have had a 08 and a 11 superjet and I put Blowsion tubbies on them. They work really well and carve awesome. I wouldn't place them any where else follow the instructions they are correct.
