Working on my hull last night I discovered that my motor sits far enough back that there is hardly any room to mount my total loss system. The best alternative I could think of is using ufo mounts to place the bracket and TL system on side of the hull underneath the exhaust hose rather than behind the motor. Has anyone had any experience in doing this, and if so what are the pros and cons of mounting it to the side of the hull than the rear. Just a side note the bracket will be mounted much higher on the wall than where it is in the picture.
