I had a member offer me a 3 channel brain. I think I know the answer to this question, but is there anyway to use this with a single pick up? I have a single trigger with dual magnets. just wondering if it will work?

STILL LOOKING FOR A 4270 BRAIN. ANYONE?

In theory that might work. I would hesitate to try it though, spark might not be as powerful. The 1270 modules are "old", even if the internal components hold up, water might find a weak spot in the paint between housing and potting causing corrosion then water entry and destruction of circuit board - that is not just a theory but something that I experienced. To "upgrade" to the 3 ch unit, you'd need one more pick up - you can drill holes accurately 180 deg. across from the existing one (possibly enlarge the mounting holes of the p/u for fine adjustment of timing), remove one of your existing f/w magnets and get 2 couch coils off fleabay.
