Msd analog 4270. No spark

Been trying to find the manual. When I turn the ignition switch on, the brain led stays lit all the time. Does that mean brain failure?

Can you open your pick up wires? Your pick up may be bad.

Unplugged the trigger wires. Led is still on. I'm at 12.3v. I'm thinking bad brain. Gonna hook up the batter charger and see if the brain needs more than 12.3v
