I have an MSD ignition that misbehaved on me one day at the lake. The Symptoms were it ran fine all summer then lost its spark leaving me dead in the water stranded. When I got it to the shore and hit the ignition it would spark for a few seconds then loose its spark. I immediately replaced it for my advent ignition and have since purchased a new MSD Enhancer. Since replacing the enhancer everything has been great. This could have been a bad ground or it could be my MSD took a dump, I honestly don't know.
Regardless I am done with this MSD. I heard people like the old MSD boxes and fix them? Maybe your willing to give it a try or have seen the same problem.
