Stopped sparking going to try and open the msd , along the sticker Lines with dremell anybody done this before

Its potted. Rumor is you can bake it in the oven at 200 and it might fix it. Or better yet toss it in the trash and get a zeeltronics.

i did this with a mac pro mother board, baked it at 400 for 8 minutes worked for 8 months after that, crashed again then baked it again worked a few more months.
