MSD vs KV coil

Please help, I have a Kawi 550 with a PJS Reed motor total loss MSD ignition , I think the coil died, as I have no spark, did the pickup coil check as per MSD. I ohm checked the coil, 11.3 plug to plug.and 3.4 on connecting wire sides. Anyone know what they should be?
I have a KV coil, will that work with the MSD system?

You Can try and shorten the wires that might help.

I have no spark , so cutting the wires will not do anything

yes but sometimes the cables are too corroded to let current through so that's the reason we cut them back to fresh conductor.
