Mukuni Kidney plate mod

Location

Saw a post on FB where someone was talking about a mod you can do to mukuni kidney plates that stops carbs dribbling at low revs.

Anyone got any info on this? My dasa 48s always dribble on my 1200 on idle

Cheers

I make these if you are interested. The Yamaha ones are getting hard to find.

First you need to check fuel pressure. If that is in order and you’re still having the issue it’s a easy fix with gp800 kidney blocks and doubled up check valves. You can even order thicker material and cut your own if you’d like. This fixed my issue on my 927’s that shake like paint mixers.

Sorry to dig up the dead.....

Are you casting new units? or are you filling and JB weld.

I was planning to either tap and put a set screw and redrill from the outside radius/perimeter.

Thoughts?
