What did you use to shave the handpole pad? I'm thinking of using a hacksaw blade.

The hacksaw blade was not too smooth and was too flexible, I used a really sharp 7 inch carving knife smooth edge from the kitchen haha, Go thin slices at a time and then follow with a rough pad on a sander.
Thanks orange, Ill let you know

And let me know if you need anyhelp with reinforcement and or footstrap installation. I helped Kevin Rickon (KR) with the LBE FX1 Resurrection. I let him keep his ski at my house for a few days while we jammed on it. I have a pretty good Idea how to make reinforcement on the 650 pretty quick and a good Carbon fiber and epoxy resin that looks great and doesn't fog up.

Been on a mission all day but it fired right up :Banane01:

Wires are waiting for bilge switch...

Deffinatlyy am going to need to know whats up with the foot straps, I really don't want to tear up the new turf. The reinforcements will make this thing surf ready for when I eventually want to roll it?

Where you at, Fullerton?

FYI, since Im new around here. My names Joe and I live in long beach cali. 20 yrs old and I use work at the LB airport and play with private jets. The SX's are a lot of fun to work on  I have mine all torn down and doing little things to it here and there but it's been a great time doing it. My Sea-Doo:thumbsdown: on the other hand is a nightmare to work on lol.

yeah that paint needs a good wet sand and and a few more coats of clear, but nice job anyways man. Have fun riding the surf just make sure you watch the nose of your ski. my buddy busted the nose of of his 650sx just by jumping a boat wake in about 20 feet of water. ??? don't ask me how that happens but it did and it was hell getting it back to the shore.

Another thing man, I see you don't have a teather switch. You need a teather if you are riding in the surf unless you turn your idle so far down that the ski dies at idle.
