My blaster came with a Pro tec CDI, is this good?

Hey guys i just discovered my blaster has a Adjustable pro tec CDI. Whats the story on these? Any better than stock besides for the rev limiter adjustment? Stronger spark? How do i know what to adjust the rev limiter too? Without damaging the engine. It has a 760cc with factory dry pipe and a high compression head.

Its a stock CDI and Pro-tec cuts it open and puts the potentiometer on there. Its nothing but a stock CDI with the rev limiter mod. I ran one for many years and just opened the limiter screw all the way, just like I used to on the MSD Enhancer. You dont want to be hitting the rev limiter. You finger should be your rev limiter IMo.
