I just bought a 90 X2 and am very new to 2stroke engines and jet skis in general. That being said I am a quick learner and am not affraid to dig in and learn the ins and outs of this machine. Ok this is what I know about it: First off I got real lucky picking this thing up because the hull is in decent shape to start out and most all mods are already done, it has a 750 motor installed with ada head with pump gas setup all stock motor other than head and the motor was pulled from a near new jet ski that fell off a trailer. The motor has the coffman exhaust and a modified alluminum water box. It has a mikuni 44mm carb and other stuff I cant think of right now, also it has a umi steering setup. For the most part it looks really clean engine wise but I dont know much about tuning carbs as I have tuned a few fuel injected turbo cars but only played with carbs a couple times. I believe this carb is what most run so maybe you guys can expain what jets do what and what neadles do what. The guy I bought it from said the tune should be real close and I should be able to tune with the screws but I dont know what that means.
