My triple trailer project

Bought this trailer for long trips so I can take my brothers B1 and my SJ on trips like daytona etc and it has spun into a bigger project than expected after finding some rust. Anyway its 80" wide between the fenders and 14' long overall. Got a pretty good deal on it with the UWS toolbox and almost brand new tires but redoing more than anticipated.

Bought the trailer and in less than 24 hours stripped it completely down and cut off all the hackjob fab work, then got lucky and took it to the sandblasters yesterday so I can start with a blank canvas for welding etc

before

after

why I'm cutting out and replacing two crossmembers

tire size we are switching to. Same as my hunting boat trailer so spares can be shared. Also transferring the smaller tires to my single trailer I need to sell, so Win-win

Ended up making this a 2 place trailer because we are short on time for our trip, Still planning on making it a 3 ski trailer but I didn't have time and we are leaving this week for a trip. Reasons why I went with 2 is because with my new fenders the ski's sat way too high up on the trailer and I hated it. anyway here are some progress pics, its primed right now just waiting on it to warm up to finish painting. you can see where I put in new metal, ended up replacing 4 sections and adding some additional bracing and expanded metal tray

Paint turned out alright, nice thing Is I can touch it up easily. You can see the new taillight housings and bigger fenders in the pictures as well, finished the bunks last night. Ran the wiring for the lights and polished the tool box. Should be done with the trailer today hen I head to FL thursday

Nice rehab job. What's the plan for bunks? 2x4s covered with outdoor carpeting?
Thanks! it turned out to be a bigger project than expected but I know it's solid now, planning on adding more stuff to it before daytona trip. and yes 2x4's with bunk carpet on them.

Got everything bolted down and threw my SJ on the trailer, Plan to add more lighting after this trip.
