My WB1 Build

Picked up a low hour Bone stock 96 blaster about a month ago, i took it out to make sure it ran good with no issues before i started to put money into it. Thing was flawless got home and started ordering some parts up to get it to my liking. Coming from a moto back round i wanted the moto like feel to it so heres what i got so far. I hit up my good friend who does all my Mx graphics and had him make me a wrap kit for it because the stock look just wasnt cutting it, and i did not feel like sanding and painting to a color i would like so figured this would be my next best choice although it wasnt cheap and was a pain in the ass to install and get everything lined up perfectly. I still need to put the bottom kit on but wanted to see what it looks like without it, i also ordered a hydro turf seat cover it finally came in 2 weeks after ordering and i wanted to get the jet trim seat "look" i liked how they shaved the seats down not just the hump, well ufortunetley for me one thing led to another and i hacked that thing up ha... So i took it to an upholstery shop and told them to redo the whole foam how i wanted it to look, way more money then i thought it would be but take it as a lesson. For the motor im probably going to leave it stock just do factory B exhaust jetting and few other small things then i think it should be done. What i am after is the fun and reliability of this thing i dont want to start getting into he motor and have to be working on it when i could be having fun.

Parts so far

-Renthal bars

-Odi Lock on grips

-Riva groovy ride plate

-Riva intake grate

-Hydro turf seat cover

-Magik Custom wrap kit

Parts i want to buy

-Factory B exhaust

-Dakine foot straps

-Hooker prop

Everyone knows what a stock blaster looks like so no need to post pics of the before so heres how it looks now until i get the new cover which should be by the weekend!

Heres how i wanted the seat to look was going to cut to the first sharpie line then the second if need be. Well one thing led to another and you can see for yourself the end result..

And little action pic after i put the new bars on night and day difference between the stockers.

Looks great! Do you have an after picture of the seat? Also can you post a link to the Renthal bars?
After, as in a finished product? If that's what you meant the seat won't be done until wensday afternoon from the upholstery guy so hopefully it comes out the way I am expecting it to but I will post pics when I get it back! The bars are renthal 784 bend here's a link. I also took a grinder and cut off the tab for the foam pad since I'm still running the stock stem I figured I would atleast make it look good until I find a good deal on a aftermarket one.

Looking purty good, can't wait to see the seat when you get it back. Picked up a 94 myself, doing a few mods that I had left over from years ago. Eventually dropping a 1200 triple in it.

Thanks guys! Hopefully tomorrow seat will be done and I'll post some more pics I'm also anxious to see how the seat comes out I hacked the f*ck out of it as you can see so hopefully the upholstery shop will bring it back to life and give me the look I was going for !

Here she is! Seat came out perfect exactly how I wanted it to super smooth no lumps no flaws dude killed it on refoaming it! Only thing now is the front of the seat won't latch on to the hull like the seat got wider by 1/2" from the new foam and cover. I need to buy those seat brackets and it's good to go. Have you guys had good luck with those seat brackets? Do that tear up the cover? Also He said he couldn't go any Lower on the seat because the Hydrp turf logo was placed so low already that he had to leave meat on top otherwise it would have folded over

Looks great! Not sure I understand why you would need new brackets though?
Thanks dude! The seat where it would Originaly grab on the front of the hull does not grab the tabs like the plastic tabs on the seat do not go far enough to grab the metal mounts on the hull. Get what I'm saying?

Yeah I get that, but why would it change after just having the foam removed?

I'm guessing because he put new foam on and wrapped it super tite it changed the shape of the plastic part of the seat as it's super thin even if it's off by 1/4" it would cause it. Almost like the seat In the front is more open now.

Ok that makes since now. :) So what are the next upgrades you are thinking about doing now? :p

next is factory b pipe one of my good friends is one of the head guys at Dasa he's got a bunch of parts there waiting for me but I'm not sure if I wanna do much more then a B pipe maybe some bigger carbs and reeds. What do you think?

Looks like a good start to that build. You thinking about racing it?
Thank you! The plan would be to race it for fun don't want to have to dump to much money into it and loose reliability as I know that way to well with MX and Pitbikes, I have 2 15k 110s that I built to race took a long time and a lot of money to get them to where they are at and to where all I have to do is put gas in and go, but ideally I would love to race it a couple times for the fun of it and go out and hit the ocean with it.

I think if you have friends at DASA you should drop in a 1000cc Dasa engine. =) Or at least have them port your 701 cylinder. Other then that a new impeller will make a world of difference. You can check out the maxing out my blaster thread in my sig and see all of the upgrades that i have done.

Lol having friends doesn't mean it will be free. My buddy charley who works there told me to bring him my 701 for some love I just need to get down there and see what all he wants to do. I'll check out your thread right now
