I bought me this stand up jet-ski a few years ago and i wanted restore it completly.
I always wanted one of those and they are hard to find in Iceland so when I found this one I just had to buy it.
It´s a 1992 Yamaha SJ 650.
here are the some pictures.
this is what it looked like when I bought it.
I had to take it apart to fix a hole in the hull
it had been porly repaired by previous owner and it was taking in water.
the hull was ready and the next thing to do was to paint it.
I wanted to do something different so I did the paintjob myself.
I had those Yamaha stickers specially made for me in chrome.
It was alot of work but well worth it. no it´s time to get the engine ready.
I bought a new krankshaft, bearings, all gaskets and seals, bigger pistons 0,5 bore and had the piston sleeves bored. I´ll let the pictures do most of the talking.
we replaced all wiring in the electrical system
Ready for action
I stll havent uploaded any pics from where I´m riding but I will do so soon
