Super Jet name this crusty secretion

Anyone know anything about this secretion i have in my water jackets? I dont know if i should try to clean it out and risk some of this chit getting in my cases.

It appears you are missing your sacrificial anode so that is corrosion I'm afraid.

The anode is eaten up by the corrosion instead of the metal cylinders yours is missing small piece that's screwed in between t the cylinder s

I have a trash cylinder in the garage, if the anode is still on it ill send it out to you for free

I ride salt and took the anode out so it would not corrode and break apart which could clog my cooling lines. But I flush with Salt Away after every ride. 3.5 years after I took the anode out there was no crusty crap in the cylinder sleeves.

Knew about the anode . How would you remove the "crusty secretion " once its formed ?

a lot of the time the screw that holds the anode in loosens and the anode in somewhere in there you just need too look for it, it takes a long long time for them do completely be destroyed
