need advice on covers

I always prefer OEM covers. They last the longest and you get your monies worth out of them. However im not sure if its easy to find a cover for an FX1...does a superjet cover work for those?

The GPR one shouldnt be a problem to find a cover though. Every ski that I have ever gotten in..if it had an OEM cover it may have been faded but was still intact. The aftermarket ones I would get in that had been used are always torn and thin.

Buy a used one. I have an OEM GP cover I'll sell for $65 shipped. It's faded so you know it's already experienced at keeping the sun off your ski.

It's the blue one on the right...

My opinion OEM as well. I had 2 GPRs with OEM covers that held up great. My 07 OEM SJ cover is mint even after sitting outside for few weeks of rain and sun over the summer.

PM Hardcore, he bought two brand new OEM Yamaha covers from a guy in Canada and I bought one as well. They are for the FX-1, and brand new. Plus they are mostly purple, which is odd because all the OEM covers I ever saw for the fx1 were more of a pinkish color.
