Ski Need help valuing a '11 superjet

First off, not sure if this is the right place, so if it's not I'm sorry.

My neighbor at my cottage has a bone stock '11 superjet in what he describes as fair/good condition. I believe he bought it new. It gets ridden a handful of times a year, and sits the rest of the time with the cover on it on a hoist. I'd be surprised if it gets ridden enough to burn 3 tanks of gas a year.

He asked me today what I thought it was worth. I realize it's hard to value stuff without pics and compression numbers. He takes care of his things, and I'd say it's probably in average condition for the year. I'm in Michigan, so it's a freshwater ski. I don't recall any peeling on the hood.

What's a fair value for both parties involved?

There are plenty for sale on FB marketplace here in Michigan. Jump on there and look to help with your local value. Sounds like he wants to sell it to you and he wants you to shoot him an offer... so you evaluate and make an offer... what he's really saying is what are you willing to give me for it bud I'd like you to have it.

He knows I've moved on to aftermarket ski's, he's just looking for an honest valuation that's fair for both parties. I've looked on Facebook, but listed prices aren't necessarily market value, or what things actually sell for. I figured posting here I'd get a more realistic valuation.

Based on ACTUAL sales.......it seems fair market value on stock pwc right now runs real close to NADA (jd power) value......or a bit more. That would mean 4k-5k range.

Seems like clean skis in our West Michigan area go for a bit more than general market value, at least from my observation. Might start just a tick over Myself's suggestion and see if he could sell in the $5k-$5500 range. Just a couple years ago that was a $9K asking price ski LOL....
