First off, not sure if this is the right place, so if it's not I'm sorry.
My neighbor at my cottage has a bone stock '11 superjet in what he describes as fair/good condition. I believe he bought it new. It gets ridden a handful of times a year, and sits the rest of the time with the cover on it on a hoist. I'd be surprised if it gets ridden enough to burn 3 tanks of gas a year.
He asked me today what I thought it was worth. I realize it's hard to value stuff without pics and compression numbers. He takes care of his things, and I'd say it's probably in average condition for the year. I'm in Michigan, so it's a freshwater ski. I don't recall any peeling on the hood.
What's a fair value for both parties involved?
