Need Info for my planned weekend ride

I have to say that i am super stoked I was invited to come down to Mission bay to ride and hang out with a crew that can teach me a ton about this sport I love!

I have been watching a ton of videos of people doing backflips but seeing it in person from a bunch of people with skis that can make it happen will teach me a lot more.

Anyway, Aquaholic posted a general map of Mission Bay but i am not sure where to park or exactly where you guys will be. I am coming down the 5 from up north but its when I get there I dont know where to go exactly so any advice would be great.

I am most excited about meeting people and possibly trying people's backflip skis out even though I am sure many may not want to which I understand...but hopefully some might be open to it?

A little background in case it helps reassure you I wont screw your ski up. Even though it was a long time ago I used to be able to (I probably cant now) do a backflip on my BMX. The penalty for not making a backflip there is pretty massive and on the water I am less concerned about getting hurt though I am sure it still happens. Between watching a ton of videos and my confidence from other experience I know I can do it. Maybe I cant do it on my 440 but with the right ski I don't think it will take me long.

see some of you guys soon!

Can you stand up on your 440 yet? Hopefully aqua gets some footage of one of those "ice cream" engines or "dazza" motors ripping your arms outta socket.. :)

ha...well, aqua said he won't be there but i wouldn't ask to ride his anyway it's too powerful as I understand its over a liter engine, right? but hopefully somebody with one having a slightly smaller engine that wouldn't be too much for me yet still able to do a backflip won't mind letting me try.

Trying skis will really help me make a decision. Right now I definitely know that the 440 is not gonna work and even with an Xscream (see I can say it right haha) probably doesnt make sense either which is why i really want to try a variety before I get a new one.

I wouldn't ask to ride anyone's ski. Let them ask you. Just be cool at first, calm down a little. Get to know the people first. I have seen good riders break someone else's ski taking it for a test drive. Don't even think about trying to bust a back flip.
