Hey guys I'm new to the site I just picked up a 91 650 sx it has a factory pipe,sbn44 carb Quattro ride plate and a intake grate . It has a solas 16.5 prop from what I'm told Im looking for info I'm 215 and 6'4" I don't care about top speed I want a prop that's works best in the low end any suggesting would be great thanks

Kinda dumb question probably judging by the landlocked state of ohio................a straight 15 will pull pretty good on the bottom with those mods. Are those the only engine mods done, or are there others?

I've run a solas 13/18 variable pitch on skis similar to yours with great results. Great bottom end pop.

Yeah, u gotta have a Lil more pep to run the 14/19. As mentioned above, the 13/18 is another good choice for more stock than modified engines. I have run both the 13/18 and the straight 15 and found that the 15 gives a little more grunt on the bottom. That is why I asked the question about where u do most of your riding. If u ride mostly flat water with the ocational chop, the 13/18 might be a better all around prop.

. Buddy of mine runs one without the cutback and it could pull a truck.

I payed $290 from blowsion. Well worth is IMO since they are made to order and not easy to find someone willing to part with one. He does run the non-cutback in a stock 650 pump. As far as I know he only has an aftermarket nozzle on the stock pump. If you decide to order from blowsion you'll have to call them since they dont stock the prop for the 650.
