Need Some help- Heim joint?

Guy's Im in a bind here..trying to finally get my ski together and the last thing is a threaded heim joint (ball end) for the steering/trim nozel. I have looked at the ones from Mcmaster Carr that were talked about on here before, but it seems that some of you (Darin?) had trouble with the bolt sizes not being correct? I cant seem to find what I need anywhere, any help?

Ive also heard that the GP1200 is the same as the one i need? But it appears that the cable is larger on the 1200? The thread of the steering cable end is M5 and I cant use a stock end with the XFT trim, it will bind...ohh and i dont have time to get one from brazil

You could use the rod end that you have listed from McMaster then take a shoulder bolt from McMaster and turn it down to 5mm the smallest shoulder bolt I see in McMaster was 6mm. It would only take a minute to turn one down if you know anyone at a machine shop.

so is the the steering cable on the SJ and that on the GP1200 the same diameter? and this is the 1200 not the 1200R rights?
