What CDI do you have now? You may already know this but the 61X, 62T, 6M6 CDI's will all plug and play and work with minor differences in timing and rev limit settings.
If you run a mostly stock setup, the rev limit may not even be an issue for you.
If you plan to pipe it or build a limited setup with more power and rev limit is a concern, you can do the rev limit mod and make it adjustable, up to 8800 RPM.

Does anyone have the picture of how to remove the limiter on the cdi it was on pwctoday but it seemd to have been deleted
