i was just in west marine yesterday and they have their own bilge pump now for 600 gph . the pump body is screwed to the base so the tabs like on the rule wont break . anyone tried it yet plus they are cheaper $20 a piece . i bought two to test well see if the work as good .

I saw them at my west marine for $16 I think. I could be wrong.

Is it this one?

Says it's watercooled, which worries me a little. I run my Attwood continuously while riding, and Attwood claims their's are the most efficient on the market so it's not a heavy load at all plus they can be run dry.

I wonder if its Mickey Mouse ears will fit under the coupler cover?

Another vote for Attwoods from me: they last longer, pump better and cost less. What's not to like?

don't forget you can chop off the outer white housing (it's just decorative) and make them even smaller than they already are.

You mean on the Attwoods? True enough, but mine fitted without having to do that. I just had to trim the bases to get rid of the big right-angle bracket thingy. Nothing a Dremel can't take care of in a few seconds.

Here are an Attwood 750, another 750 cut down, an Attwood 500, and a Rule 500. You can cut the 500 down just like the 750 and it ends up being tiny.
