ive just finished a small batch just to see if people will be interested. They are machined from 6061 aluminum bar stock, the lever pivot pin is in brass with a teflon liner to reduced friction. All the bolts are in stainless. They will be anodized in 3 color, black, blue and natural. Price will be 60$US + 15$ shipped in the Canada and the US heres some picture (this is the actual model but polished, and its missing the lever pin. Since it was the prototype, the surface finish isnt great)

$15 for shipping when you can go to the post office and ship it priority mail for less than $5?

why not build that cost into the throttle and not inflate the shipping charges?

He's talking about the mount.
It looks like you need to remove the grips to install?

Thats wut I was thinking. Not a problem if u run the ODI lock-ons, but other than that it would b a PIA. Good lookin trigger for the money tho!

they may be a bit harder to put in place but there is less chance of getting sliced since all the smooth surface are on the front and top. Ive placed the bolts on the bottom side for security and it gives a slicker look. Less protuberance = less chance of getting hurt :icon16:

Dumb question. What's new and better about this throttle that would entice people into buying? :dunno:
Neither price nor features/design make it stand above the numerous rest. Am I missing something?

Well to be honest i thought that the price and the quality would be a good reason... like the title says, im testing the water and want feedback. Any input is appreciated

It's all good. Please don't take what I said as me dogging on you.
Those were my thoughts when I saw it.

My two skis already have a/m throttles and I would be unlikely to buy a new one.
Even if I was, I would stick with name brands (Blowsion, UMI, XMW) because they are very similarly priced and better known.

Good luck to you.

i will probably lower the price and at least make a finished one. Ive seen Blowsion & UMI at 75$ thats why i thougth mine were cheaper. since they started there life as a solid block of aluminum, there quality would be better than the cast ones. also everything on it is corrosion resistant.

Dont worry Matt, i really appreciated your input, that how i can improved my parts.
I have some good idea for A/M parts and this is of them. Im currently machining a couple of girdled heads similar to the one ive made last summer (pictured in my thread "781 beast"). Head shell plus 2 dome and all the hardware for 260$. Im also designing a billet 760 cylinder with powervalve.
