New double Trailer / Refurb

I picked up this Shorelander trailer today off of craigslist.
I'm planning on sprucing it up a bit with the usual stuff
Just off the top of my head I might paint it black and put on some new alum wheels & tires or just powder coat black the old ones, along with new wiring and bunks.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should use for the bunks other than wood?

Look for trex or evergrain 2x4 composite boards at a local lumber yard. They won't rot

I had that exact same trailer I liked it cause I could literally pull the toung off the ball and it would stand straight up, walk it around by hand in my yard and perfect to drive in the toyhauler with a atv....


Wish I never sold it though
