New logo to go with the new theme or just leave it

Keep the old logo or update it to match the theme.

and a exciting blue logo to macho or do what ever is "exciting",, make it a .gif and have an wave like a flag... doing backflips or what ever rolls your boat

yeah, I'm not really sure what the point is to this thread or for that matter the rest of them that have been started. You have given us two choices, which from what I understand is more than most sites give. I appreciate everything you have done for the site Jett. I guess some people still don't get the fact that this is not your primary job & what time it takes for you to keep it maintained for us.

I think some people just like to complain about little things more than post/read about jetskis.

Everyone wonders why I get 'my panties in a wad', it's things like this, where people were soooo vocal about it, so I finally break down, decide to double the work of updating themes, for a whole 32 people out of almost 3000.

How many of that 2862 have even logged on since the change. And of those that have, how many have found the thread showing how to change back to "cool" blue? According to the site stats, there are only 825 active members. 33 is 4 percent. Of course the site stats also say that the most users ever online was 722, on 07-01-2007 at 02:08 AM and that's certainly not accurate. How many of the "825" active users have even been online since the change. I suspect a lot less than 825.:stups:

We average well over 500 registered users/day, and the thread you mention is 'forced' to be read by everyone.

Regardless, 32 people switched, but such a big deal was made out of it you'd think we sold the site to (insert your evil jetski company of the week).

i think this was a suggestion, not get off your lazy ause, tax payers dollers are being wasted. Agreed what BK pointed out,, this is Jett's hobbie not job. Jett dont take my remark as complaints, just suggestions.. i'm sure this is true for most replys about the new theme.

Darin, respectfully, I really don't see that such a big deal was made. You cannot please everyone and someone mentioning that they switched back doesn't seem to me like "bitching". I switched back too. I think the blue theme is nice but it hurt my eyes. That's not bitching, it's just what happened. I am glad I had the default theme to switch back to.... so I didn't have to bitch about it hurting my eyes.

I don't see that onesojourner was complaining at all. He just made a matchy-poo-poo logo for the new theme. Where's the bitch in that?

I wish you wouldn't take people's comments so personally. Some people ride Kawi... some ride Yamaha.... hell, some even ride seadoo! You can't expect EVERYONE to love it and I don't see anyone making a big deal about it or giving you schit for doing it.

You must know that I was happy to see a change and it's a bummer that it hurts my eyes to read the dark color, but it's nobody's fault and nothing needs to be done about it. I don't think anyone commenting expects you to change anything because of their comments.


Just comments.

Thanks for doing double duty so people like me can read the forums too!

That one gets my vote... and you can do it like the Google image put a santa hat on it next month, have leaves and then show capped.. that sounds cool...

But someone other than Darin do the work.. We don't want to push him to leave again..

i switched back to boring blue just cause it's easier for my degenerative brain to process, as for the vote, i vote yellow cause i like yellow....i could really care less what ends up happening with it,

so now i'm gonna go draw a blue duck...well because i've never seen a blue duck & i want to see a blue duck...Ms Lippy's gonna love it....
