new pump seals and bearings and now it's hard to turn driveshaft

I just got my mag pump from skat trak and they installed new seals and bearings and the driveshaft. The driveshaft is difficult to turn by hand. It turns, but not very easily. Is this normal with new seals and bearings or do I have a problem?

It's normal for them to be pretty tight when everything is new and you haven't run it yet. The only thing that can sometimes happen is that the rear of the shaft can catch on the cone. Turn it with the cone installed and without - if it feels the same then you're good. If it is stiffer with the cone on then it could be rubbing which would mean that you need to whack the shaft forward a bit to get it seated properly. Use a mallet and a piece of wood to protect the end of the shaft.

Mag pumps are very tight when new or rebuilt from Skat-Trak.
It takes a couple of days of riding to get close to normal.
