I don't think anyone would expect this to back flip, nor purchase it with that intent.

Oh I completely understand that. It's just crazy that with epa laws we now need 4 stroke jet skis. I know what it's made for, I do think that the handle pole is too far back, and when it makes those turns it seems to hop out of the water alot, maybe an intake grate would help. Just doesn't carve or ride like any other ski I have seen.
