Hah. That looks terrible. Definitely potential though. Fx riders are my favorite to watch at freerides. Is this your first boat.

Go pick up some quality epoxy resin and glass cloth to make your crack repairs. There are tons of threads on the glass work to get you started.

If you can wrench then try to find a complete motor with electrical to drop in there. If not there are reputable and knowledgeable builders to buy complete setups from like @JetManiac

With enough glasswork that pole would be fine. Depends on the budget you're on. That's a picture of the waterbox. It's basically a baffled muffler

Fx1 poles are similar to rn poles and they are not weak.
X2 I had one on my carbon freak for the length of ownership. Its full of foam and will help right the boat in the surf.

also go with trinity composites for a quality resin, and biax glass will do like vumad said, but I always get some s glass to help soak up the excess from the biax then sand smooth.

Don't spend too much for a 650. Its not ideal and is not an easily upgradable with cost effective bolt-ons. Look for a 701 motor that is pulled from a wetjet or other sit down. Bruceski a member here usually has a good cheap 701, he parts out yamaha skis.

Use a 701 61x motor. You will be happy with a 650 for all of 10 hours before you want to upgrade. I'm not sure what your budget is but if you can throw some money at it you should get a motor from jet maniac.
