just a top end ? warm it up with water running through it then let the engine cool put it in the water and ride it 10-15 , just don't do any full throttle long runs for the first session let it cool and your good to go .
1 - Get some Amsoil HP Injector oil
2 - squirt some in the spark plug holes and crank it over a few times
3 - mix your gas 32:1 fire it up out of water for 30-45 seconds
4 - let it cool for an hour or two
5 - repeat 3 & 4 a couple times
6 - put it in the water and warm it up for a minute or two before riding
7 - ride it slow, no more than 1/2 throttle for the first tank and vary the throttle quite a bit (no more than 60 seconds at a constant speed)
8 - second tank of 32:1 no more than 3/4 throttle and varying the throttle again
9 - that's it
This is what the builder who did my engine recommended and swears he has never had a cold seizure. Worked great on my ski. Also helps if you run your mixture screws/jets a little rich for the first tank.
+1 its the top end of a 2 strokes needs a heat cycle to bed the rings in and thats it , by the time you run a tank of gas through it its already wearing out :-}
