So I have a 701 62t motor in my sn sj now and I fired it up last night brand new never been ran it sits and idles great pretty dawgy to get revved up and then it hits the rev limiter really really low in the RPM range. I was thinking it was my thermo sensor on the head cause I didn't have any water hooked up while running it after it was a lil warm it shut me out. any thoughts on this?

Thanks Tanner

unplug the pink wire to the head sensor

Like crab said.
make sure the pink wire is not grounding out. It will cause about a 1500RPM rev limiter problem.

Pink wire is found in my ebox or can I cut that Biotch externally from it? I would rather not have to pull it out but can. and no ground k

BTW just to finish this thread what he found was a break in the wire insulation going to the thermo sensor it would run fine until it would get wet and then act up and go into limp mode, He cut the wires and threw away the thermo sensor. Which was a reccomended also thank's.
