It will will become a double ski hauler once my son gets a little older and buy another for him. But for my first year it will suffice. I was concerned about the strength at first, but some well placed added bolts made it as solid as any other.
looks great nice job!
im not sure if your using it for salt water or fresh but make sure if it goes in salt water, wash it down real good. A few people i know who have had the harbor freight trailers used in salt water have had them rust bad in less than a year and wheel bearing failures.
I had a smaller version of the harbor freight trailer for years (freshwater use only) and it did a great job. Got rid of it when we started hauling more than one machine. Got almost what I paid for it.
It will be freshwater only living in Michigan, mostly Lake Michigan and Lake Chapin. It'll be towing my first stand up, maybe a second if the girlfriend gets into it or years from now when my sons older.
Ignore the post it notes was doing some gel coat repair had some small chips, flagging for sanding/buffing.
ha ha I remember last year I was in your same shoes. I bought a superjet in january. It was the most painful 2 months waiting for the lakes to thaw. Nice ski. Glad to see someone else getting into the sport
Good deal man, my new ski is in 400 parts at the moment. Brought it home from GA, and found that there's an issue with the top end, might have to re-build it before I can run.
Cant wait to see it. Depending on how accurate the weather man is I may be able to go for a ride Sunday. Probably post some pictures with some senic michigan snow in the background
