I heard that the Atco track is closed now. Where do you guys ride that live in the Cherry Hill/Philadelphia area? From what I've read and been hearing, NJ is cracking down on people running in the Pine Barrens and other woods areas.

Any suggestions?

I read recently in the paper that NJ bought old mine land and plans to develop it into an MX park. Then I went on to search and found that (surprise surprise) it's getting opposition from the locals. Typical BS.

Check out www.atlanticgrandprix.com The guy Running the series got approval to open the park in Little egg harbor...should be open by early next year. Other than that...Demo is right....you can't F'n ride anywhere in this state without risking loosin you poop Jersey Blows

atco mx is supposedly closed for good now. the njmotorsports park offroad park section is relatively small and probably wont be open till 2011.

I raced that atlantic grand prix and it was pretty fun. the start and the pit where you park is actually in the middle of an old gravel pit.

You just have to know the places to ride. Talk to people and find out different spots and try to get a parking spot at someones house to ride from that is key. I've been riden from my driveway all over the F'n place for the passed 8 years with no trouble. Be smart about it to, what wrecks it is when people do stupid stuff like ride with no helmet, rip down the road WFO, Rip though farmfields... so be courteous, it gets you a long way. I've seen cops while I was riden and they waved me down and since I was courteous to them and the people around where I ride I was let go and actually had a conversation with the cop about where the best jumps were in the pit.

Douglee if you have a bike and want to ride let me know I have spots right at my house and I go every weekend. I live on the Vineland Millville border 5 min from exit 26 off route 55

They are razing the tolls on the Turnpike and Parkway. Looks like a good opportunity for the MX in the nearest future when those two roads are permanently empty and you still have all those potholes, drops, etc.

I appreciate everyone's response.

Ant - I sold my bike a year ago because I didn't ride it enough. Now I have the itch again and I'm looking to get back into it. If I come across a bike, I'll give you a shout.
