Non agressive grate for a 08 SJ

I have installed in my ski a top loader from a RN superjet (the other hull) but it was too agressive for my taste, the boat would stop violently after cutting the throttle, and it protuded too much under the hull (the ski is stored on a swim platform on my boat), which grate can I try which isnt so agressive? Only want a little more hookup than the OEM grate.

I would suggest the Worx 205 or Worx 201.

Which grate does the 228 mimic in behaviour? The 201 or 205? I am not that fond of the breaking effect of the 201.

in order of aggressivness:

201>228>205

201, most aggressive
Then the '08 grate 228,
Then the 205 as the lesser of the three.
With mild engine builds up to 785cc in what you want, use the 205.
