I have finally decided to retire my Freestyle SJ. She started out as Pat Bogarts first Competion SJ's painted and setup by wamiltons in early 2001. From there it went to a kid named Derek, to Chick aka Royalflush to me in late 2006 right before my daughter was born. Interesting enough, it first trip to any water (which sadly it never made it to due to a trashed batter) was at the original 2007 Southern Fried Freeride. I even turfed it there. Same turf that is on it today (I think). Another coincidence is its last event was the 2016 Southern Fried Freeride! Right before I started hearing rumors of a Hull that was coming up for sale that was sitting in some guys garage whom is known for having fettishes for female ducks. [Sadly, he has this awesome GF now, hope he does not "Aflack" it up, she is really cute and cool!] I figured out what ski this was, one I drooled over last year when it was for sale before. I hit up the Owner and we went back and forth. It eas ugly... not really. Made offer, he countered with a reasonable counter which included delivering ot to me this weekend. This was a no brainer. I now have a -4.3 Badass sitting in my shop.

I have been a diehard SJ fan for years. Even competed on her last summer. But I am vey old school. I could care less about back flipping. I have done them on doubleups, but they just dont excite me. I still love to do Barrel Rolls. Something many do not even try to do. Will be making regular post as the build progresses. Have to start getting my current hull and some misc parts for sale. Got some upgrades to do.

Congratulations Harrison! Well deserved. Thank your sweet wife for letting you do it!

*Thread jack!
Looking for a Berky built battery box holder (you bolt your actual batt box with four bolts to this carbon piece) that bonds to the bottom of a SuperFreak.Goes right where a standard battery would go. Figured one of you all would have one laying around since not everyone put a battery up in standard location

You told your wife you wanted to get Freaky and she said yes ? From my experience this is unbelievable ! Congrats ! and this gives new hope for other guys that are just afraid to ask !

Don't know if I'll ever sell mine it's like a vacation in the surf with how stable and buoyant it is, fun versatile ski !
