I have a 93 WB1 that I rebuilt over last winter and have now been riding this summer. I am getting much better on it and have been riding some surf and doing flat water stuff. Lately when I dive it under, it ends up running a little rough for a bit until it eventually clears out. I figure water is getting sucked into the flame arrestor. I have a 46mm Black Jack carb with a Tau Ceti flame arrestor. From what I have read it seems that most people run oem arrestors for surf riding as they keep water out better. Is there a way to adapt an oem arrestor to the Black Jack carb or is there another arrestor that fits that does better with keeping water out? I emailed Art from BJ to see if there is something he suggests but havent heard back yet. Figured someone on here must have run into this at some point.
