I'm about to build an 83mm bore eng, and I'm currently using a west coast head that uses oem style hg on my 701.
I would like to keep using it with my new 83mm cyl, but I'm slightly concerned about the oem hg bore being only 82mm.
The piston doesn't travel into hg space, and it appears that it will seal ok, but I'm still not 100% it'll be fine..
Who's done this, or do I need to buy an o-ring head for 83mm bore?
