Oem starter rebuild kits??

The front bearing is a special one. I was able to source a couple. Koyo made it special for mitsuba. I’ve re built a couple for some local guys. Maybe I should put together kits if people would be interested.

I got a aftermarket that came in a box of parts and 2 oems. I'm gonna a open them and compare. The aftermarket has and always will be a paper weight lol.

When yaw do rebuild them, do yaw put any grease on the bushing in the back cap, shaft and washers that are internal to the starter? If so what kind?

You can do a bushing. Works fine

Caltric kits are fine. Work well. Cheap

You can also type Mitsuba sm13 into eBay and buy a used one from a motorcycle. Swap the rear off your current starter. And have a oem low hour starter that has most likely never seen water. For cheaper than a rebuild kit.
