Super Jet Ok guys, here is the question of the day

Buckwild12

I'm moved by DASA power!
Let me set the scenario, I was at Wavedaze a few weeks ago, it was pretty shallow, waves were minuscule. I bumped bottom like many others and knocked my midshaft back 1/2 an inch. Does anyone know of a tool (improvised or otherwise) that can bring the midshaft forward to close the gap without pulling the motor, midshaft housing etc and pressing it back to the appropriate gap between coupler halves. My motor, midshaft and pump are aligned (or at least were) dead nuts on and I really don't want to move stuff unless absolutely necessary. Thoughts, suggestions, or ideas?....
