I just picked up a 6x12 Flat deck on an old boat trailer frame. 20ft end to tongue.
im debating making it a 3 or 4 ski trailer.

if i make it 3 ski then itll have 2 on the back side by side and one across the width (as per the usual setup)
I was considering a 4 spot all width ways.

Does anyone have any input on which offers more benfit

Obviously you switch the skis around width wise for weight distribution

Itll carry a WB1 and a SJ SN for now with possibility of more stand ups in the future. Im also adding a tool box and a rig for my fuel tanks

I had a old double trailer rigged with flat deck that I put them in a pryimiad shape two on the rear as far out as possible then one in the front middle and would turn in around backwards so all the 550 skis noses where facing each other , it had a place to hold five gas cans on the front but made for a short tongue when turning the trailer........ did the same thing years later with a double ski trailer but had VXR's on there the same way except left of eh gas can storage

This is the trailer. The 6x12 deck is screwed to a frame that is u-bolted to the boat trailer frame. I can leave the deck, the frame, or else take it all off and start from scratch. The consensus seems to be running the skis length ways and then one on the front width ways. Has anyone run them all width ways before? Pros and cons to both ways? This trailer is not for the couches in the back ground. Only the blaster and stand ups
