Super Jet old school skat 9/17 good for a 650

seeing I cant find any deals on a 701 i'm going to rock my 6m6 till winter. I have a brand new old school 9/17. will I be way over propped? looking for the low end bang! any of you have a good deal on a 701 hit me up

On ebay there was a 701 that sold for around 350 to 400. not the cleanest looking but it had good compression.

I had that prop on a SN with a sizzler and it had been bored to a 701 and that was a great pitch. You can always change the trailing edge pitch if the top end is too much.

I have this prop on a 701 in a 300sx conversion right now. Im not trying to thread jack but would there be much difference with a 9/15?

simple answer yes. We put a 9/15 hooker in my gilrfriends sj this past winter. hooks up way harder now. pulled a old school straight blade 9/17 out. ported 650 sj with a coffman pipe

Mine came with a 9 17 skat in it. Ran great with both my 650 and my 701

how did you do your 300sx conversion? who made the plates?

Buy a JRE conversion plate of ebay

I used that prop last yr with a stock 701 sn. Great prop for a lot less $ than the newer stuff and rips outta the hole but still has the fast top so if your cruising to a location you can carry 35+ mph without killing your motor
