They pretty much absolutely suck IMO. Unless you have A LOT of other stuff with it.....and even then....

Hummm. I've ridden it on an otherwise almost stock 701 with stock dual 38 carbs, and a 180lbs girdled head.
That ski ripped. No water injection, either.

i can get it for 300$ is it worth it for that much ?

I think so.

A: MattE....but how much better would it have been with a B? And how much more reliable?? A LOT!!

B: You will never be able to re sell it...never.

C: Don't do it for the love of God.

And you would be lucky to get 200 for one brand new in the box IMO.

I've ridden a stocker with a Blaster mod chamber, and this Type 4 pulled every bit as hard.
This ski with type 4 was dead-reliable for at least 3 years.

Bull.

I watch them sit in here for sale for months...lol

No way did that thing hit as hard off idle as it could have/should have.

Why is this pipe still even considered in this particular forum. They suck...they clog....they are hard on couplers.....they are big blue pigs in the way of everything.

I knew I should have bought one and run it over and posted the vid so people would think twice.

I am telling you my personal experience. It pulled hard and was reliable. Never needed a coupler.
They're fine pipes in my experience.

I understand your personal experience was different.

Proper installation and tuning is key to performance and reliability. The B-Pipe is more forgiving in those categories.

One of the few ^^^ lol....Maybe you haven't compared them back to back and side by side....I don't know..

I know I have. Speedwerks.....B....Type 4....

B all day every day hands down. Although I loved the mids on that Speedwerks. I loved NOTHING about the type 4. I place its existence right up there with spiders. KILL THEM ALL!
