Opinions on Hurricane C2 Carbon

I've been looking into the hurricane hulls and saw a RTR hurricane C2 full carbon for sale that caught my eye. How do these skis ride in rougher water like in surf? Are they capable of any kind of speed at all or strictly flat water freestyle? Do they hold up well? I would hate to buy a carbon ski and it break from jumping it off of waves too high. Would anyone here argue for me to wait for a fiberglass freestyle ski to come around? Thanks guys!

Yeah I have someone wanting to buy my superjet so if I can scrape the funds together I'd like to have it if everyone says it'll hold up. It's nearby me too so I'd like to check it out and hopefully bring it home.

Do you just ride flat water on yours or do you free ride on the lake? I'm looking to free ride one and 99% of the time I'm on the lake and was wondering if it'll hold up good. I'm an amateur at best.

I'll be at the southern fried freeride. I'll be chassin' boats as well and throwin some good rolls. I've had mine for over 2 years and put it through a lot of abuse. I've landed flat so many times it hurts my knees thinking about it. All the side landings from learning barrel rolls. It'll do the trick.

I think the one that you saw was the one for $2800 with all the hull damage. That think needs a major overhaul at the handpole bracket.

I'm planning on it. Sold my superjet today so I've got to get the rest of the money. I'm hoping to have it before the weekend. I really want that ski.

So bought the Hurricane from @mightymighty2stroke today. Love the way she built and and she for sure took the time to do a full quality build. Super cool lady too. The ski by far outperforms me but with a little practice I hope I can change that. I think I made a good decision for my first AM hull. Thanks to everyone who gave me an honest opinion on the matter.
