Opinions/Pricing on 22" LCD Displays

Looking for a 22" LCD monitor. Mostly for work. Doesn't need a webcam, microphone or other junk. Mostly for Spreadsheets, Outlook, and working in our database, and visiting X-H2O. Crisp text is crucial.

No gaming, TV, or watching anything except maybe Youtube junk and vids posted on this site.

Our IT guys are big fans of Viewsonic, but they seem pricey.

Suggestions?

I've had pretty good luck with Hanns-G monitors at work. They are inexpensive and have been holding up well for a couple years now.

I've heard there are only a handful of manufacturers actually making the screen part so it doesn't make much difference who you go with. Might just be a rumor.

I ended up going with the 22" Hanns G. It suits my purpose, and looks great and was $159 shipped. Had I not found out about it, I would have gone with Acer. In fact I had never even heard of Hanns before I asked the question on this site.

So, thanks guys!! :beerchug:

I have used the Acer and the Hanns for customers and they loved them. Not gamers though.

I still have to use 19" CRT's for high end PC games.

Even if you don't buy it at Newegg at least read all of the reviews on Newegg.
